At Novera Flooring, we believe that great design should not come at the cost of the environment. That’s why we have committed ourselves to creating eco-friendly, sustainable flooring solutions that enhance the beauty of your spaces while protecting the planet.
Our Story: Built on Sustainability From the beginning, Novera Flooring was founded with a vision—to redefine flooring by combining aesthetics with environmental responsibility. As we grew, so did our commitment to reducing our ecological footprint. Today, we specialize in green flooring solutions that are biodegradable, recyclable, and responsibly sourced, ensuring that every step you take is a step toward a more sustainable world. Our products are carefully designed to offer luxury, durability, and environmental consciousness in perfect harmony. Whether it’s our waterproof laminate, resilient vinyl, or timeless parquet, each collection reflects our passion for crafting high-performance flooring that supports a healthier planet.
Our Green Commitment At Novera Flooring, we don't just sell flooring—we champion sustainability in every aspect of our business.
At Novera Flooring, European design is not a trend—it’s the foundation of everything we do. Every collection is conceptualized and developed by ViruBridge OÜ, a sourcing and innovation firm based in Tallinn, Estonia, with a focus on delivering flooring that meets the practical, aesthetic, and environmental demands of the European market.
Our design process begins with extensive market research across European residential and commercial sectors. We work closely with architects, builders, and designers to ensure that every plank we create reflects modern European interior trends, while also withstanding the real-world pressures of everyday use. From the wood grain texture embossing to micro-beveled edge finishes, every detail is intentionally designed to deliver timeless style, tactile realism, and installation ease. Whether it’s a Scandinavian matte oak or a dark smoked walnut, our finishes are selected for their authenticity, natural appeal, and long-lasting color stability.
Behind the design is rigorous technical development. Our flagship product, the BlackCore 14mm laminate with integrated 2mm IXPE underlay, combines advanced material science with comfort and durability:
• High-Density Black Core HDF (860–900 kg/m³): Engineered for dimensional stability and high impact resistance.
• IXPE Acoustic Padding: Delivers superior footfall sound absorption and enhances thermal comfort.
• Water Resistance: Swell-resistant core and sealed edges ensure protection against moisture up to 24 hours.
• Abrasion Class AC5: Rated for heavy commercial use, tested to withstand 7000+ abrasion revolutions.
• E1 Formaldehyde Emissions: Ensures a healthier indoor environment, compliant with all EU air quality directives.
Our technical design process also includes joint system engineering. All products feature the Välinge 5G-i click locking system for quick, gap-free, and tool-free installation—perfect for both professionals and DIY customers.
As a European company, sustainability is not optional—it’s expected. From day one, ViruBridge OÜ has focused on developing eco-conscious flooring solutions. Novera products are designed to be:
• Biodegradable and recyclable at end-of-life
• Free from harmful VOCs, plasticizers, or heavy metals
• Produced using wood sourced from responsibly managed forests (FSC® upon request)
• Manufactured with reduced energy and minimal waste processes
In addition, our packaging and logistics chain is optimized for minimal carbon impact—using flat-pack formats, optimized container loads, and recyclable materials.
Unlike traditional flooring brands that rely solely on mass producers, Novera Flooring is developed in close collaboration with a hand-selected network of global manufacturers. These partners are chosen for their ability to deliver precision, consistency, and environmental compliance—all guided by the design and technical leadership of ViruBridge OÜ. We don’t just source—we engineer, co-develop, and oversee every product we launch. This hybrid design-manufacturing model allows us to maintain tight control over quality while remaining agile and responsive to the evolving needs of the European flooring market.
At Novera Flooring, what sets us apart is not only the quality of our products—but the way we design, source, and manufacture them with intent and integrity. As a product innovation and sourcing company, ViruBridge OÜ operates with a global footprint, strategically collaborating with top-tier manufacturers across Asia and Europe to deliver precision-engineered flooring that meets the highest international benchmarks. Our Sourcing Philosophy: Quality First We follow a selective sourcing model—not based on volume or convenience, but on compliance, capability, and craftsmanship. All Novera Flooring products are manufactured in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities, with production lines that adhere to EU CE standards, E1 formaldehyde emission regulations, and international labor compliance protocols (BSCI or SEDEX audits).
Novera Flooring is produced in partnership with world-class manufacturing facilities that represent the highest standards in the flooring industry. These partners are carefully selected based on their ability to meet and exceed European technical standards, environmental regulations, and ethical manufacturing practices. Our production partners operate fully integrated facilities, with in-house capabilities ranging from HDF core production and lamination to digital surface printing, profiling, and IXPE underlay lamination. These factories utilize state-of-the-art European machinery, including automated press lines and precision German profiling systems, ensuring consistent quality, tight tolerances, and defect-free finishes. We collaborate only with manufacturers who are certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards, maintain full CE and E1 compliance, and demonstrate a commitment to sustainable and socially responsible production. Many of them are also certified for FSC® wood sourcing, formaldehyde emission control, and environmental product declarations (EPDs). Each partner is audited not only for technical capabilities but also for their sustainability protocols, clean energy use, raw material traceability, and waste reduction systems. These long-term strategic relationships enable us to maintain tight control over design implementation, material quality, and production consistency—without compromise. sustainable practices, traceability of raw materials, and the ability to meet product customization requirements at scale.
1. Raw Material Sourcing
We use certified wood fibers, free from recycled industrial contaminants, sourced from FSC or PEFC-certified forests. The wood chips are screened, cleaned, and prepared for fiberboard pressing.
2. Core Board Production
The High-Density Fiberboard (HDF) core is pressed under extremely high pressure and temperature, resulting in a black-core board with a density of 860–900 kg/m³. This ensures strength, dimensional stability, and better resistance to moisture and impact.
3. Impregnation & Decorative Layering
Kraft paper and decorative paper layers are impregnated with melamine and urea-formaldehyde resins—E1 compliant—to form the visual and protective surface. These are then pressed onto the core using high-capacity short-cycle press lines.
4. Surface Protection & Finishing
A transparent overlay with aluminum oxide is applied for abrasion resistance (rated up to 7000 revolutions) and UV protection. Texturing options include registered embossing (EIR), synchronized grain, and matte or semi-gloss finishes.
5. Edge Profiling
Using Homag profiling systems, each plank is milled to exacting tolerances with Välinge 5G-i click locking grooves. This system allows fast, gap-free, and glueless installation with excellent joint integrity.
6. IXPE Underlay Lamination
For our flagship models, a 2.0 mm IXPE acoustic backing is heat-bonded directly to the board during finishing—ensuring noise reduction, cushioning, and moisture protection.
7. Quality Control & Testing
Each production batch is subjected to rigorous QA testing including:
o Abrasion resistance (EN 13329)
o Dimensional swelling in water (EN 13329 Annex G)
o Formaldehyde emissions (EN 717-1)
o Click system tension/fit
o Surface stain and scratch testing
8. Packaging & Logistics Optimization
Products are packed in flat-load recyclable cartons, barcoded, and stacked using space-optimized pallet configurations for lower CO₂ impact during transport.
Our commitment to sustainability is woven into every part of the product lifecycle. Novera Flooring is:
• Made with non-toxic, biodegradable raw materials
• Free from phthalates, plasticizers, and heavy metals
• Produced in facilities with active waste reduction and recycling programs
• Packaged using recyclable, FSC-certified cardboard materials
We also continually monitor and audit our supply chain partners to ensure compliance with BREEAM, LEED, and WELL Building Standards where applicable.
From the factory floor to the final plank, we don’t compromise between performance and planetary responsibility.
